Ingredients
2 Cups of Granulated Sugar
1 Cup of Water
1 Pkg. of Grapes
1 pkg. of Skewers
Directions
  1. Wash and dry Gum Drop Grapes. Place about 5 grapes onto each skewer.
  2. In a pot on low to medium heat, add in 2 cups of granulated sugar and 1 cup of water. It is important not to stir this mixture.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil until it reaches 300°F or until it thickens slightly with slight browning. This should take about 15 minutes.
  4. To test, drop in a small amount of the mixture into a bowl of ice water. It should harden within seconds and break when pressure is applied.
  5. Take the skewer of grapes and dip them into the mixture making sure to cover all parts of the grape. Immediately dip the grapes into a bowl of ice water for a few seconds and place them onto a sheet of parchment paper.
  6. Repeat until all grapes are coated and enjoy!
